Bringing You More Networking, Advocacy & Business Intelligence

While I have been here at the Meadowlands Chamber for over 16 years, I can tell you without hesitation that I am more excited about the prospects of a growing economy here in the Greater Meadowlands/North Jersey than at any other time before. Since the inception of the Chamber back in the 1970’s, our organization has been a leader and prime advocate on behalf of our membership to drive economic & workforce development, transportation infrastructure investment, flood mitigation as well as reclaiming our Meadowlands’ natural resources. These public affairs issues affect all sized businesses and the quality of life here. So, while you are building your business, our team is advocating on your behalf every day.

Along with our advocacy we have also been a leader in providing what I call “business intelligence.” Those sessions and events are packed with powerful learning for both personal and professional development for you and your staff and the networking is top shelf. All of this is because we have an engaged and active membership who cares about being a part of a broader community with involvement in our committees, councils, boards and more importantly…our philanthropy. Thank you to all that actively participate!

Building strong businesses that build strong communities is at the core of what we do each day. It is our passion. Your membership is important for us to achieve all that we envision for the future. So to those who are active, my heartfelt thanks. To those members that have not been active I ask, “What are you waiting for?!”

And here is an opportunity to not wait anymore: I hope you will join me on Thursday evening for a Cocktail Reception Celebration Of Our Membership Networking Event, which is free to members and their guests. This event is being hosted by Tony Papamarkos, the proud owner of the Graycliff in Moonachie, a long time Chamber member and recent Legacy Awards Honoree.

Lastly, the board leadership and our management team have been hard at work on behalf of our membership, as we position the Meadowlands Chamber to leverage the growth of the region. You will soon see new branding, websites, innovative programs, initiatives and powerful new tools aimed at membership engagement and collaboration.

Stay tuned!

Hope to see you on Thursday and at the other events below.
