United Rentals Announces Partnership With Metlife Stadium, NY Giants & NY Jets

MetLife Stadium, the New York Giants, the New York Jets and United Rentals, Inc., the largest equipment rental company in the world, have jointly announced a partnership agreement designating United Rentals as the “Official Equipment Rental Partner of MetLife Stadium, the Giants and Jets.”

As the centerpiece of the partnership, United Rentals will become the title sponsor of the “United Rentals Club” at MetLife Stadium, a 43,000 square-foot club located on MetLife Stadium’s East 200 Level. Other components of the partnership incorporate a variety of safety initiatives related to United Rentals’ “Safety First” platform, including donations to local high school football programs, onsite equipment safety demonstrations and fan safety reminders on event days. United Rentals will also focus on its initiatives for military veterans by hosting job fairs and recognizing veterans who have become part of their workforce.

“United Rentals is very excited to partner with MetLife Stadium and the two NFL teams that call it home – the New York Giants and the New York Jets,” said Chris Hummel, Chief Marketing Officer for United Rentals. “The United Rentals Club at MetLife Stadium will be a unique and enjoyable venue, right in the backyard of our corporate headquarters. The Club will showcase our work with customers in the tri-state area and throughout North America. More importantly, it gives us another way to give back to local communities through unique charitable partnerships with the teams, and to honor some of the more than 1,500 United Rentals employees who have served our nation – and now serve our customers – during special military moments at home games.”

As part of the agreement, United Rentals will have use of Giants, Jets and MetLife Stadium trademarks for promotional purposes.
