Goya To Donate 100,000 Pounds of Food to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey

Goya Foods will donate 100,000 pounds of food to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, as part of the Goya Gives ‘Can Do’ campaign.  The donation is part of the first installment of the 1.5 million pounds of food (1.25 million meals) raised over the course of six months that will go to Feeding America and will be distributed to families and individuals throughout the United States.

On Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Goya, New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center employees, along with Devils Alumni members, will volunteer their time to sort and pack a portion of the 100,000 pound donation (equal to over 83,000 meals) at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey as part their annual Day of Service. The bags of meals will then be distributed to Newark area families in need.
