Fairfield Inn & Suites North Bergen Celebrates Grand Opening With Ribbon-Cutting

Fairfield Inn & Suites North Bergen, joined by representatives from the Meadowlands Liberty Convention & Visitors Bureau and other area hospitourism industry partners, celebrated its Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting on October 31 and unveiled a new public space and guestroom design. Located at 1707 69th St., the hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, managed by the Real Hospitality Group’s New York City office.

Located a short distance from New York and Newark Liberty International Airport, the property is also accessible to MetLife Stadium, Times Square, Liberty Science Center and the Secaucus area.

Visual elements include an updated exterior with a signature tower, a curved porte-cochere and a glass entrance. Once inside, the hotel’s open public space has natural light and views throughout the lobby. The living area has a natural stone hearth, organic-shaped sofa and lounge chair, as well as a 24/7 Corner Market. A complimentary, hot breakfast is available.

In the guestroom, there is a work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and electrical outlets. Each room also has the latest in-room entertainment technology, allowing guests to access their Hulu and Netflix accounts, as well as YouTube, Pandora and Crackle, through the HDTV.

Additional amenities include a fitness center, valet laundry service, complimentary WiFi, as well as fax and copy services, and 700 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate up to 68 people. There is also a complimentary shuttle within a three-mile radius, as well as a complimentary shuttle to the Secaucus train station, offering direct trains to New York City. Additionally, the hotel has a dedicated shuttle that will take guests to midtown New York City for a small fee.
