New Chamber Initiative To Address Long Term Financial Planning

We are on the threshold of a paradigm shift. Technology is transforming how and where we conduct business, how we think about our careers and how we manage our finances.

Improvements in healthcare and nutrition have increased our life spans. Legislators are amending laws effecting taxes and entitlement programs. These changes in turn effect the decisions we make about planning for business succession, retirement, second careers and lifestyle choices.

At the Meadowlands Regional Chamber, we recognize managing these uncertainties is never easy. Many of our members have questions and are seeking guidance. Given the deep well of resources and expertise within our organization, we have created the Financial Futures initiative to address important issues such as:

  • Retirement Planning
  • Insurance
  • Estate Planning
  • Business Succession Planning
  • Workforce Development/Replacing Experienced Personnel
  • Living Longer Aging Issues and the Impact on the Workplace
  • Second Careers and Volunteerism

The people leading this initiative are accredited specialists in their fields with a minimum of five years of practical experience. In the future look for a column in Meadowlands USA magazine, blog posts, events and perhaps even an expo.
